BACKPACK CITUS LW Vaude <br />Summer 2016

Half the weight, all the function.

This small hiking backpack (16 or 24 l) is made of lightweight, siliconized 40 D ripstop and a more robust material at the bottom. The Citus has a lightweight construction that helps it achieve a sensational weight of 480 g (at 16 l) – about half that of a conventional hiking backpack. The Aeroflex back’s fine mesh weave ensures excellent ventilation that exponentially increases comfort. The lightweight shoulder straps and hipbelt are extremely breathable while ensuring stability on the back. The pack’s innovative cord tension system makes it easy to compress the pack, even while hiking. The cord can also be used as an extra attachment option at the front – for wet gear for example. Other lightweight features such as narrow webbing and the light and airy mesh shoulder straps underscore the pack’s high-tech side.

Despite its low weight, the Citus is a full-featured pack. A zip pocket in the lid compartment ensures order and clarity; side stretch pockets provide additional storage space for gear and water bottle. In addition, this sporty knapsack features reflective elements and an elastic shoulder strap pocket for energy bars, GPS device or a camera. Oh, and don’t forget about VAUDE’s Green Shape label. After all, Europe’s sustainable outdoor outfitter couldn’t do without environmentally friendly production!

It’s not just what the pack has that’s important though – it’s also what it doesn’t have. We’ve reduced it down to the essentials. A pack that’s small in size for huge amounts of hiking enjoyment! Less weight means more comfort for carefree fun that’ll help you make memories that will last a lifetime.
